Sydney, 7 July 2005 - Deutsche Bank today announced that it will name its new Australasian headquarters,
Deutsche Bank Place. The new building, owned by Investa Property Group,is located on the corner of Phillip and Hunter Streets in Sydney’s CBD. As anchor tenant,Deutsche Bank has both naming and signage rights.
Deutsche Bank Place is the first Lord Norman Foster building in the Southern hemisphereand is due for completion in September this year.
On unveiling the building’s name, Deutsche Bank’s CEO for Australia and Zealand ChumDarvall said, “We are very excited about our name and logo having a place on the city’s skyline for the first time.
”Commenting on what the move represents for Deutsche Bank, Darvall adds, “The move to
Deutsche Bank Place will add to the momentum our business is currently experiencing. After more than 30 years of operation in Australia, our move comes at an important phase ofour growth and recognizes Sydney as an important financial centre in The Asia Pacific region.”
