Deutsche Bank announces the appointment of Jason Bloom as Head of Transport Research

Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Jason Bloom as Head of Transport Research in the Bank’s Global Markets Division, reporting to Tim King, Head of Research for Australia.

Bloom joins Deutsche Bank from Air New Zealand where he was General Manager of Business Performance, a role that focused on development of Air New Zealand’s long term planning processes and models used for all large capital investment and funding decisions.
From 1996 to 2002, Bloom ran his own management consulting company specialising in complex strategic decision modeling working with a number of large Australian and New Zealand clients including Air New Zealand.

Jason has impeccable credentials and coming to us from a transport provider, he brings a fresh insight into the sector. I am confident he will successfully assume sound coverage of our transport companies.” said King.

Bloom holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce - Finance and Qualitative Analysis from the University of Otago in Dunedin where he also earned a Bachelor of Commerce (double major).
